during the period from 11-08/2004 to 07/04/2005 as Principal of Beant
 College of Engg. & Tech. , Gurdaspur for the overall development of
 the institute.

• Many fold increase in the placement of the students. 
• 2 Mbps Lease line , purchase of computer on DGS & D rates. Lan of college campus.
• EPBX  System(AICTE project) for whole college.
• First Alumini meet was also held in the month  March-2005.
• Improvement in the Academics environment.
• Process of first College magazine was started.
• Carbon-dioxide laser (TAPTEC PROJECT) for cutting of non metals AICTE New Delhi.
• Benefit of Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) was given to the eligible faculty members during this period.
• Purchase of Equipments through the Store & Purchase Committee at the Govt. level was executed in the various departments.

Following are the major areas in which the work initiated/materialized during the period from  30-07-2008 to 19-03-2009 as Principal of Beant College of Engg. & Tech. , Gurdaspur for the overall development of the institute.

• Increase in intake of seats from 60 to 90 in Computer Sci. & Engg. Discipline.
• Four proposals are sent to AICTE, New Delhi to sanction courses in MBA, MCA,  Nano Sci. & Nano Technology, and increase in intake of seats from 60 to 90 in Electronics & Comm. Engg. Discipline.
• To start Polytechnics and 10+1 ( NM ) classes w.e.f.2009 session under

      NABARD Scheme. Work is in progress.

• Sanction of  Rs. 66 lac  has been received from the Social Welfare Dept.

      for the Extension of  Girls Hostel.

• Projects worth Rs 99 lacs approx. are send to various funding agencies from all Departments.    
• Worth Rs. 12 lacs  Project Grant under Research Promotion Scheme  has   been received from AICTE, New Delhi in Dec. , 2008 and Rs. 08+03=11 lacs       received on 06-05-2009.      
• Multiple growth increase in the Placement of  B.Tech. students.
• The maximum work for Accreditation of  Mechanical Engg. , Electronics

            Engg. , and Computer Sci. & Engg. Departments is completed .

• Academics and Discipline of the students have improved considerably.
• Lease line speed has been enhanced from 2 Mbps to 4 Mbps.
• Execution of College web site.
